Electric ball valves are also known as a motorized ball valve. It is used to control the flow of medium, gas, or liquid with the help of rotation ball with a bore. Applications:
Electric actuated ball valve used for on-off control of air, water, oil, and other compatible media with the materials of construction. The electrical ball valve is suitable for steam service which is up to 25 PSI with a high-temperature mounting bracket kit. It has a vacuum service up to 29" Hg. An electric steel ball valve has an optional DPS position and BSR spring return is also available.
Operations:
The electric actuated ball valve uses power-to-open and power-to-close. With the loss of power, it stays in the last known position. The motor runs and via a rugged metal gear system on receipt of a continuous voltage signal rotates the ball 90ยบ. The motor of the electric ball valve is stopped automatically by internal cams striking limit switches. The motor on receiving of reversing continuous signal turns in the opposite direction reversing the valve position. The control of flow is good as the electric ball valve has a heavy-duty brushless motor.
